Background and Important Information

As members of the Two Spirit, Trans, Non-binary, and Gender Diverse community, loss can be all too familiar to us. When a loved one passes, it is often painful and difficult to process; this can be doubly so for individuals whose chosen names and identities are not honoured in obituaries, funerals, or other death proceedings. This page serves as a memorial site, a list of names of members of our community who have passed on, to remember them and remember that each one of us matters. While the pain of loss is lasting, the memory of our loved ones live on in each of us.
